AI-Powered Macro MCP—Polymarket, Repo Rates, Non-Farm Payrolls, Central Banks, and More.
I wanted to share the milestone I’m genuinely most proud of.
This began as a handful of experiments, including FRED chart explorers, repository and Treasury trackers, Google Sheets analytics, visualizing distributions, and tracking the repo market in real-time. Every app solved a piece of the macro research puzzle.
Now, for the first time, it’s all unified:
The first AI-driven Macro Model Context Protocol (MCP) app—taking you from an idea to a complete research dashboard in minutes, built with FastAPI, fastapi-mcp, and OpenBB.
But for me, this is much more than another tool; it's what I wanted to use on a day-to-day basis as a macro researcher from the workflow of the experience of working in boutique macro research shops.
It’s a tangible proof of concept for where AI and data are headed:
Research that’s persistent and grows with you—AI that remembers, evolves, and helps you build on your work.
You don't need only a chat; you need a canvas!
70% of the time, researchers are still waiting for the bloated Excel sheet to load...
All your apps joined together, so you can pull live FRED jobs data, overlay Polymarket odds, track Treasury flows, or run regressions on your data, all in one place
No more scatter. No more losing the chart you built last month.
Just a living, growing library for your research—where you can watch your thinking and your work evolve.
Week by week, chart by chart.
Claude's integration to generate charts inline is coming soon.
I'm developing an interesting workflow to test a weekly repo update.
As you all know, we already have a live update every week here at STIR MONITOR with over 30+ charts on repo markets.
